![]() All the beaches are accessible both by car and by small boats departing from Naoussa port on a regular schedule (in the summer). Santa Maria, 5 km west of Naoussa, is a long sandy beach with beach bars and surfing school. The beach at Kolymbithres is one of the most famous in Paros. Limnes and Langeri are other beaches close to Naoussa, sandy and not organized. Next to Kolympithres there is even a water park in one of the hotels, open to the public as well. Such are Kolympithres and Monastiri, sandy strips between rocks, with sunbeds and parasols. But in a close distance in the same gulf there are a few more beaches, some of which with beach facilities. The village is spread in the center of the gulf and has two small beaches, Piperi next to the new harbor and Agii Anargyri at the east end. Naoussa is located in a deep and very curved gulf. The new part around the old quarter has many hotels and guest houses, so in the summer nights the village gets quite bustling. In my opinion, this is the best beach on Paros, in terms of quality of sand, water, sunbeds positions and amenities (pool, showers, different types of sunbeds scattered all around the club, etc.). ![]() Naoussa old quarter with its narrow blue-white streets and stone arches between the houses is a busy place with numerous small cafes, tavernas and shops for souvenirs and handmade clothes, attracting craftsmen and artists almost all year round. Next to it theres another beach with Punda in its name (something like Viva Punda), so one could be confused. Its small harbor, protected by the ruins of a Venetian fortress and lined by drying octopuses and tables of seafront tavernas, can often be seen in magazines and websites. Naoussa, the old capital of Paros, is one of the most picturesque villages of the Cyclades.
